This year’s visit with Denise and Andy saw us in a beautiful Umbrian villa overlooking the town of Bastardo! Our visit here included trips to Todi, Montefalco, Assisi, Castelluccio, and Cascata delle Marmore, or Marmore Falls, just outside of Terni in southmost Umbria. Marmore Falls is a man-made waterfall created by the ancient Romans in 271BC. Its total height is 541 feet, making it the tallest man-made waterfall in the world.
